One of my mates has a "brand new" BA xr6 diff. From what he has told me it has everything on it including brakes, callipers and even springs. But he or I has no idea how much it is worth so i thought id see what you guys had to say before i chucked a thread up in the for sale section.

PS.. im in Adelaide if anyone is interested.

Is it an lsd?? i believe the standard xr6 doesnt get the lsd, but i could be wrong.

BA XR6 get a 3.45 ratio only standard. optional LSD available though.

What is it do you know?

I have no idea. I would say it is standard though. As far as i know it was given to a company from ford to make up a jig for some reasom or another, so thats why id say its standard. I could have a look at it if there is any markings to say if it is LSD if someone is genuinely interested in it. Im not sure how much my mate paid for it and im not sure how much he wants for it, but id say its a bit less than what ford would charge or even a wrecker for that matter.

there i a guy i know that would be interested if it is a t diff adam that ran 10.4 blew his friday night!!!!

Like i said i dont know much about the diff itself but if there is a way to tell if it is a T diff or lsd etc.. let me know and ill check it out

i'm pretty sure the lsd's have a tag attached at th e bottom somewhere, i read it in a thread.
but unfortunately the stock non lsd diff's are known to snap, i snapped two personnally! i think the diff along is worth about $850, i know an lsd one is worth about $1000 from ford, i was gonna have my non lsd exchanged, but i exchanged the whole car instead! best move i ever did!
