not that anyone would be driving constantly at wide open throttle, but just wondering.
It the celica i have given it a really hard time once at night then we had a look under the bonnet and it was red hot, you could see the oil running throught it. Not as red as that tho!!
i let her run for a long time after that to cool it down :)

They would Never get that hot in Real world conditions due to the airflow that a moving car generates ...
Beatnik I've seen a set of Lancer Evo headers get that hot in real life conditions. Mind you they were giving this evo absolute punishment. And this Evo is the biggest HP 4cyl in the state (registered but totally illegal). It looks wicked.
