The plate sits just under the grill on the side where the std cia is and goes half way down the grill like what you would get in a SS induction kit www.ssinductions.com.au/baxr6turbo.htm
Made it from a piece of sheet aluminium about 1 hr to make and fit
Elloxrt, give me a day or so and I will post some pics of the SS one and some dimensions if I get time to pull it off the car. Hope this will help, What SS charge is a little steep, especially if the net gains are debatable...

Like I said, the car came with it, so I have no basis for comparison, and I am not willing to take it off 'til I have more information re. pro's/con's
Anyone have a dyno graph of before/after SS induction fitted?
i dont have any dyno chats to prove that the ss unit makes a diff but i do have timeslips from kwinanna showing progressivly slower times over the 1/4 as the ss unit got heat soaked. i took it off and was running some air ducting into the air box that was the same size as the ss inlet hole and when simon from Xtreme Ford Tuning tuned my car for me he found that with the ss size inlet the car was 10kw down on the top (280kw down from 300) when he opened the lid on the airbox it jumped up to 300.
im now running his tyhpoon lower airbox and 2nd cai(that simon so kindly lent me) and the car is much stronger and i think it sounds better on the induction side of things....might just be me imagining the sound difference....
sorry for the long winded answer hope this helps...
I have had thoughts of redirecting the intake from the turbo to straight out the front with a pod filter on, as does the nizpro kit, but without moving the batery, what are other peoples thoughts?
