Hi guys, im just wondering about my options regarding a computer for my xr6t. I know about the capa flash tuner and the unichip. Any other good options.Also prices would be good if u can. And advantages and disadvantages etc etc. Thanks alot.

BTW. the car has a full stainless exhaust from turbo back. After computer im planning an intercooler upgrade.

Dude the CAPA Flasher is a pretty good unit....some guys have had issues with them on other threads here......but like any computer.....get it tuned specifically for the way you drive /or would like your car to run. I've had no problems at all.

Call CAPA cause they're awesome with technical advice on this sort of stuff.

The Ford Flasher retails for about $1,300 or close to that.

Also my best mate is looking at trying the Herrod Stealth unit.

Herrod Stealth is same as the capa flasher.............definately best on the market atm

I've got the Capa flasher installed in my T and it has transformed my car. Simple mod and I have 245kw at the wheels and my car is genuinely quick.

It cost $1500 with a custom tune, no wiring, just plug-and-play.
It has to be the best value mod avilable.

The only negative is you have to show the car alot of respect when its wet, but that goes for any powerful car.

I've had computor chips mate they don't do squat get the flasher unit and you won't look back i sh#t you not. Make sure you get a hi-flow air filter so she breaths better.

There is xede, which has incar switchable maps, nice feature.
RDP do a strap on too, comes with an in-car boost controller option, nice..

Edit is getting good results, but I think it would be the ducks used in conjunction with a strapon of ur choosing to have all features available. But the cost option may not be reasonable...

Was thinking the capa flash was the best option, but just wanted to see what was available. Can the capa flash be tuned like any other computer and does it have any good features or just the basic things. Does anyone know anything bout the redcliffe dyno computer, price, features etc. Thanks
