Hey guys, im thinking about removing my rear wing, but i just want to know what all you guys who have already done it, have done about the third brake light? do you just take th wing off and only have your two brake lights, or do you hook up the rear window one? if you hook up the other one, how hard is it and what is the process? thanks guys...
xr's and fpv's (any car that comes from the factory with a rear wing) have the LED in the wing, and the brake light in the window doesnt work. im not sure if its still connected, just with no globe, or if its just not connected. when you take the wing off, you only have two brake lights. i want to know if anybody knows how to hook up the rear window one? do you just need to put a globe in there?
dont do it! if you take it off it'll look like a std fairmont with fancy badging! if it was a small sports car i'd say of with it, but the back of the machines are fat, big n chunky! they need a lil somethin to break it up!!!!
While I have not yet done it myself (but will once the BF F6 arrives) you can just stick a globe in the existing brake light on the rear parcel shelf.
I think they look great without a wing.
P.S You must have a 3rd brake light to comply with roadworthy
cheers, thats what i was after, i'd prefer it to be legal... now my question is how do i get in there to put the globe in? can you get in there from the boot, or do you need to take the parcel shelf out?
