Good morning David.
WTF is going on at FORD????
They have a new promotion on regarding the XR models ie. The Limited Edition Xr8, DevilR or Enforcer.
I am led to believe that it was announced at this same time that “PREMIUM” sound was now an option on the XR UTE models finally for the first time?
This was truly great news and about time and I commend ford for finally doing it BUT!!!!
Its only available on the XR6 XR8 and the Pursuit Utes and NOT THE F6 TORNADO!!!!
Surely this cannot be correct David or it’s just been overlooked? Stuff me gently old boy but is it not odd that you can get it on the low end vehicles but top of the range FPV F6 Tornado it’s not available?

David as you are well aware the F6 has been put on Hold and to date none of us customers who have vehicles on order have been informed as to when production may start again and when we may see delivery, another thing you may be able to assist with is possible a Projected date of the recommencement of production?

David I propose to you that since NO Tornado Ute has been produced to date and as I have ordered the first one in Australia why is it not possible to have the “PREMIUM” sound package with the color LCD fitted as it is now available in the XR range of Utes and the Pursuit form what the dealers are saying?????????????????

This is unacceptable and considering I like many others have had my order in for 5 bloody months now and originally promised Production mid January and EX factory on 1-2-05 and now we are looking at what? 1-06-05 maybe?

David you surely can see this is not acceptable and something you could fix with one phone call to the right people and make it available at some cost of course.
Maybe they could fit it while the Utes are sitting Idle waiting for the Clutch Fix???????

David feel free to PM me if you wish to as This may well end up in a mess with the Dealer the way its going… BTW David take a look at the option on the HSV MALOO and ask yourself WTF are FPV doing as they can’t match the interior let alone the RWKW’s.

yeah it will be good to hear ....
I liken it to Buying a Fairmont and having premium sound sytem, then moving along and buying a fairmont Ghia and not being able to have Premium sound WTF?
Ford need to fix this and do It now or it/they will become a joke...
Another thing was last year they stated many times that Both the F6 Typhoon and the F6 Tornado had the same spec's so what happened?

Thats probably about as close to a fix as Ford will come
You would imagine someone in ford would have something to say about this as its just totaly WRONG!!!!
I Just dont know why I buy Fords somedays... maybe it is time to cantact HSV?

WHY because they offer you the options what the customer wants.!!!!!

Go back to the 70's in the FORD dealerships and they were NO1 then, FORD was setting the mark for options and GMH was FOLLOWING now the role has reversed and look at the results.
HSV as i said is NO1

Back then you went in and it went;
Sir id like to order this GS pak or this GT with these options.

GeZZZZZZZZZZZZZ seems so simple but as usual Ford make it so god dam difficult and PI**ed of customers then you have to go on the fix it trail.

BUT at least you have finally done ONE thing and put the color screen etc into a ute
