hey guys, i own an 03 xrt with 60,000kms with cai, k&n and capa flasher with custom tune. back when it was completely stock i got it dyno'd at Morpowa in adelaide, and it pulled 206rwkw on 5psi. i then took it to KPM motorsport in kings park sa, and got my stage 1, with cai k&n and custom tune. they gave me a dyno sheet saying its pulled 229rwkw on2psi. it felt faster, but not nearly as fast as it should have i thought. i took it back to morpowa for a power run, to get a direct comparison, and it pulled 198rwkw. its not running 12psi, its running 8ish and drops off to 5 in the higher rev range. its probably slower now, it just feels quicker because it shoves you back in your seat more when boost comes on, but then drops off. anybody else had similar experiences?
HERE is the the dyno sheet comparing the original run when the car was stock and the new run with the "12psi" flash tune. the red one is the original run.

give him another go at it and if no joy comes from it take it to greame west workshops ask for brett and tell him dynowog from xtc sent you!!!!!

thats a long way off the mark dude and unacceptable.

I believe he has netted some excellent results from badxr6 so he must know what he is doing. Take it back and i'm sure he'll rectify it for you.
No point bagging someone out after an 'iffy' result, could be any manner of dramas. If he doesn't get it right, then you could mention you wee unhappy with them, till then, see what he has to say, and let us know how you go :)
that boost curve on the custom tune doesn't look too happy. Any reason for it oscillating like that? A leak somewhere in ur system? just wondering, cause I have no idea.
yeah, well, i've seen badxr6 too, thats why i went to them, because i was pretty sure they new what they were doing. i'll have o get in touch with them and see what they say. i havent had a chance yat as i got it dynoed on friday, and just thought i'd have an ask around and see if anybody else has had the same problem... oh well, i'll let you guys know what happens... cheers
Did Brucie actually do the tuning at KPM?Usually he's pretty good(did mine manual 240 rwkw exide,verified on both Road and track and morpowa dynos)and Simon at Morpowa is pretty good too.Give badxr6 another look,maybe some other factor involved?

did not know that brucie did the tuning there the owner was adimate he was the tuner!!!!
im not sure who it actually was, but i went there, and told them what was going on, and they had a look at it, and they said somehow the custom tune got lost somewhere. he said he has no idea how it happened, but the tune just wasnt there and the car was sort of doing whatever it wanted. he retuned it for free, and now its got 230rwkw, and the difference is huge! so huge in fact that i got it done on friday, and on monday i had to take the car to ford to tell them that the gearbox is whining 1st, 2nd and third. i have a new one on order coming in 2 weeks. i thought the T5 could handle a bit more than that?
