You just never know............ ;o)).....anythings possible.
I wonder how a car like the F6 would sell tho. From what I understand the american market is unlikely to embrace a large sports sedan powerd by a blown 6 cyl, not a V8. The Monaro/Pontiac GTO has already shown it can be done, although the power plant is from the US anyway......but a turbo 6?
Some Americans might like the Taurus, but I'm not a big fan of Ford stateside. The only Fords that I like are the Probe, and the Mustang (just a little)...
In a either a Motor or Wheels mag, they gave a couple of yanks from Ford an XR6-Turbo and they loved it. They loved to power it produced and couldn't get over that it was an Inline 6 and that it was Turbo'd!
So with that in mind, me thinks that they would kill for a Typhoon, I know I would!

Yeah, it was Wheels, March this year. Peter Robinson drove an XR6-T through Europe to showcase it to some of the leading European motoring press. On the whole they loved the car; were extremely impressed. The general public however, largely ignored it. They blamed it on the colour.
They also took a car to Detroit. The article was actually written by a US writer who loved the car. He reckoned it would sell amazingly well because the yanks don't make anything like it and pricewise it would equate to a Taurus. He particularly liked the interior quality (compared it to expensive european cars). Interesting read.
Yes I do have to agree, the colour they chose was terrible. They should have made it a bright colour like Blueprint or Citric Acid, not Phantom. I think they said they chose that colour because Phantom was the promo colour for the BA's.
