Hi

Went to the drags last night to see what the XR6T's were running, and there were three a stocker which ran 14.1-2's and two XR6T's with what looked like APS2 (judging by the rear mufflers), and was a bit disaponted to see that they only managed to run between 13-13.2 on the quarter (also think they were auto).

Even though low 13's are still quick i have aps2 and plan to run in the next few weeks was hoping for mid to high 12's.(from what i have seen on the forums).

Some pretty quick LS1 commos that ran mid to high twelves! (not sure whether on NOS or supercharged.

Some other times:

GTP Stock 14.1-2 quarters
R8 Clubies Stock same as GT's
And a heap of other fast fours.

Big Mick has an APS stage 2 kit, he's ran a 12.16 from memory, just over 270rwkw's

Yours should do mid 12's , low 12's after a few drag outings to get the knack of it

Hmm ...so a warmed over dev5 can give a GTP a good run for its money.Sox has run 14.4. it is interesting..

The two APS cars were white and red! and i am quite sure they were both autos.
What should be faster the auto or manual for those type of times?

Yeah , the White one was mine ( phase2 auto). prettty ordinary night. Normally run consistent 12s, but best I could manage was a 12.9 pass. Traction was a real battle with the track not being very sticky due to previous rain and the set of 2 hour old tyres.
One thing to consider guys is that generally speaking like for like cars are generally a few tenths quicker at Calder. autos are generally quicker down the 1/4

Hey,

What has been your best time at eastern creek so far?
Do you know what the (red) Monaro and the (Grey) Clubsport had done to the cars as they ran consistant 12.6's(Clubbie) and 13's (Monaro)?

Hoping to be down there in 3weeks to have a go down the quarter for the first time, might see you there!

Hey guys, unfortunately the Auto's are faster than the manuals down the strip But there are always many variables to why cars run certain times, apart from the driver. Whether density track etc can have a big impact. I think on average consistancy wise you will see a Phase 2 run High 12s on a good run.
