Being quite peeved off and embarrassed I switched the hazard lights on and turned the car off. I then started the engine again and all was fine. A quick stop down to the Ford dealership and asked them what would have happened. They told me something to do with the variable cam valve timing - some valve gets stuck now and again. Since this little mishap she has run fine. Can anybody explain to me what this means and has anybody else had this embarrassing problem?
