Does any member of this forum have a turbo on order from from Power Ford in Castle Hill Sydney? Mine has been on order for 3 mths and I was expecting to get it in August. I have now had a call from the dealer telling me that I will have to wait until October. Thats a 6 mth wait from the time I ordered it and paid a deposit. he tells me that there allocation of cars has been cut from 6 a month to 3. This is a big dealership and I am not sure if he is telling me porky pies or not. If anyone else has a car on order from this dealer or any other dealer in sydney and has been told a similar story let me know. 3-4 mths wait seems to be the average from what I read on this forum. 6 mths is just f******g ridiculous.

Heaps more people are buying performance cars these days. It's good to see that things are going great for some (Ford) but not for others (the buyers and their dreaded wait). If only they could streamline the process to shorten the time.

I think people (not necessarily you) have too higher prospect to receive their car when Ford says it'll come. But, alas, it was never to be the case.

6 months for a XR6 Turbo is #$$% rude. I only had to wait 3 months for my GTP!! (6 months in total - I cancelled my first order because the car jard was a dick - 3 months wait from second yard).

Do other places have them in stock.

There is a Acid Rush GT in stock in Canberra - can drive away today! (Manual, Leather, no stripes).
