That is true, i have the ss induction pod filled the holes and got it painted,I reckon looks better than the FPV ones,
geez, $600... is that including guages, because i'd wanna get autometer anyhow... and can i just get some numbers from someone on here with a typhoon and go in and buy one, or is it more complicated? also, how much was the ss inductions pod?

If your smart and have yoour heart set on a typhoon one shouldn`t be more tha a $100 or so. Apparently the pos comes in several pieces so make sure you get everything involved and yes if you know someone who has a typhoon you will be able to get him to order it for you, though be aware apparently long delays are involved and from what I have heard fpv are being pricks about it questioning why and wanting to see the faulty unit you claim it to be replacing hence why i just went ss inductions in the end.OH and the original gauges look crap definetly go aftermarket at least they have numbers on them as well as other features.
Looks good, I wouldn't mind a set for the XR. Anyone put similar guages on a XR8?, Im wondering if an oil sender unit is req, wiring etc.
VDO PN# 230.032 solid brass T piece ($16). This is what is required as the gauges you buy will come with the sender.
This is what is required for the xr6T so you might want to check that it uses the same size T piece on the xr8.
Nice mate. How much it cost and where from. ive got a couple of gauge holes in my BAXR6T to be filled also.
Im after boost & oil presure.
(I was also thinking about the FPV ones as well but not fussy, it aint a FPV anyway).
Cheers.
not sure which your referring to,but
Paid $20 to get screw holes filled (ripped off I know)
$65 for ss inductions pod
$50 for painting
oil pressure wasabout $330
Boost was $225
