f6 oil filter

Finally got round to getting my 3k service on the Typhoon. I asked for the oil and filter to be changed, but the dealers reckoned they couldn't get a filter from anywhere... none available from Melbourne. Anyone else had a problem?

Cheers, Ian

Beats me........ just what I got from the dealer. I thought it was strange that the filter would be any different; I didn't bother looking at it.

Re: f6 oil filter

The Typhoons filter is about half the height of a normal filter as it has the oil cooler block between it and the filter mounting pad, so mounted on top of the oil cooler block it is about the same height as a normal filter once in place.

Asked for the oil and filter to be changed on my F6 when it had the 3k service. They said they did, and charged me for it anyway!

My Oil and filter was replaced on the 3k service. The dealer mentioned that they use the same oil filter that they use for the GT???
