Which is faster? XR6T Ute or XR6T Sedan? Both (BF) - Ford Forums

Hi guys I was wondering which is faster? Sedan? or Ute?
I was racing my friend's Sedan (Both BF XR6T - same colour too

) and it took off quicker than mine (probably his was manual and mine was tipronic)

I have a hard cover (with the new hump on the back) + spoiler and it adds abit of weight. Also mine is still "stock" and I wanna find ways to make my car go faster WITHOUT voiding the warranty. Any ideas anyone?

At the moment I'm doing all the following which MAY or MAY NOT help:
1) 100 Octane
2) Traction Control OFF
3) Air Con OFF
4) Nothing in the tray (Except for my attached hardtop)
5) Only 1 block of fuel in the tank (or 1/2 a block)
6) I'll even LOSE WEIGHT if it helps!

I still don't think my car is fast enuf, and I know she can go faster!!!

One of my customers has an XR6T auto BF 6 speed.

Sedan

STock 13.9@103MPH

Xtreme Edit 12.6@111MPH
as for whats quicker, the sedan is slightly lighter BUT the ute has the ability to launch better without breaking rear end components
