faulty turbo xr6t
Recently i had an AVO upgrade, intercooler,exhaust, injectors, link management, air filter,turbosmart bov, blitz turbotimer and eboost boost controller. All were installed this week and the controller installed last. The controller indicated boost was 1.5 psi at 3500 and 4.5 psi at 5000 and was limited to this level. All pipe work was removed and was clear, the turbo was removed and it was found a bush in the waste gate had seized a flap half open limiting the boost. Has anyone else had similar faults or added a boost gauge / controller and found irregular boost levels? Is this fault warrantable and since it was identified during modifiction how would this affect warranty?
