Re: FPV Typhoon Quote

You may find that many dealers wont discount much as there are only limited numbers per dealer and orders are already in

Re: FPV Typhoon Quote

How the hell did you get fleet discount?? My company has national fleet discount with Ford and no dealer in QLD would honour it for any FPV vehicle!! What dealer/state gave you the prices??

Apart from that the prices look the same as what I have paid.

Re: FPV Typhoon Quote

Ford seem to be having a hard time honouring their current warranty commitments, so what's the deal with the 'extra' warranty? They'll fix any driveline shunt?

Re: FPV Typhoon Quote

I have spoken to 2 dealers in Melbourne. The first dealer said
"there are no fleet discount on the FPV range, however because you work for Canon which is part of national fleet we will take care of you"
The car would of costed less than 58K so I guess the dealer threw in the matt's the 'extra delear warranty'(I am assuming) to get it to a nice clean 58K figure.

After speaking to the 2nd dealer I realised that the first dealer may be a bit dodgy as most are. The 2nd dealer could not release a quote to me yet as the national fleet discount on the Typhoon is not yet known. I am hoping fleet discount will be consistent with the standard falcon which I believe to be at least 5K. I reckon I can get the Typhoon down to 57K drive away. I'll let you guys know how I go later this week when I hope to actually purchase one.

Gassed, don't forget that the 58K retail price includes luxury tax. Once they apply fleet discount the luxury tax no longer applies as it's below the luxury tax threshold therefore discounting the car even further.
