This is King of BA Hill until the XR8 lobs, and even then it is difficult to imagine the V8 is going to be able to seriously shade this quite awesome performance car.

Gees I love that Quote, feel sorry for the XR8 though.

Long live XR6T

Its a problem that most people read drive and the cars guide in the herald sun, and not that sort of stuff. I believe these guys just take the cars for what they are, and explain how good or bad it is. I was amazed by drive yesterday when they told us the commodore handled better, and the first that came to mind was, how much did holden pay u to say that. It seems they are trying to save holdens ass, as i have mentioined before.

Brilliant! Everyone loves the XR6T!!!

An interesting quote:

Quote:
In fact we'll go as far as say that any sports Holden - be it a V6 or V8 - would struggle to stay with the XR6T on a challenging piece of road, and we don't mean just a dragstrip either because the quality of the chassis means this is much more than a straightline missile.
That comment alone should make it a very formidable package on the track. Man, cant wait to drive one of these babies!

we are waiting for the performance times. Only times so far are from wheels. But they useboard test equipment, driver, passenger, and full tank of fuel. They managed a 14.4 so a sub 14 sec time could be possible.

Also doesnt a car need to be run in, like over 10000 kms to be at its peak performance?

Any good thing written about holden immediately you guys assume holden has paid them off, any bad thing written about ford and the reporter has no idea what he is talking about.
Maybe just maybe the drive reporter felt the holden handled better, thats his opinion he's allowed to think that.
