June MOTOR

Guys,
Just found this on the Holden forums regarding a Maloo V's Typhoon/Tornado.

Aparently the Maloo won hands down!? Can anyone confirm or elaborate on this??

Re: June MOTOR

I don't know about "hands down", but yes they did say it was the winner of their comparison.

Tornado was dissappointingly slow, 0-100, something like 6.7 sec. Maloo times were nothing special for a Gen 4 but still over half a sec. ahead of the FPV.

Let him that hath understanding count the number of the BEAST:
for it is the number of a F6 Typhoon; and its number is 0217.

I think it was you Flapist, that said that MOTOR was doing the Test of Typhoon V Clubsport soon?

When is the release date and can you confirm what it is up against

As for the Tornado V Maloo think, i think th Tornado would beat it in most aspects but off the line traction would be neer on impossible in that thing

I don't think the tornado would have a chance against any LS2 products, there is a huge difference between a car that can run falt 13s and a car that can barely break into the 13s, different conditions aside, there is just nothing to it.

My ute can do a low 13 traction limited and its got way more power than a Tornado/typhoon, It took 310kws to get my ute to that number, and it takes Holden 297 in a light shell, makes sense to me.

THe Maloo is awesome bit off gear, go and have a look. Its just got everything! IRS, Trac con, 6.0L, nice interior, awesome seats, just well refined and put together nicely.

What is the tornado? Leafs sprung 1-tonner with too much torque.

I'd have and FPV on one condition, it had 300rwkw and was as low as my ute and had colour ICS (which the tornado does not get!).

:end rant:
