hi all, would sticking a k&n filter on my stock xr6t make any difference?? also interested on thoughts of unichip v others on the market? thanks

A cold air intake and a panel filter will make a difference. Cheapest mods you'll ever do.

I run one Heef. Don't expect huge power gains...but I didn't want my car to breathe thru that cotton-pickin standard unit.

Some Pro's and Cons:
(a) Looks trick and comes pre-oiled.
(b) fits really well once fastened.
(c) keeps solid stuff and bugs at bay. Mine had a locust sucked to the bottom of it.
(d) Let's yr 'T' breathe. Like it had a puff of ventolin or something.

Cons:
(a) Not that cheap.
(b) Doesn't rock your socks off with impressive power gains
(c) Those fastening clips are a bitch to get done up after u get the filter in position.

generally...it's just a filter dude.

yeah i suppose if u got the intake side breathing better than i would add to even better gains once u start playing with the zoorst side of things.

The CAI will really enhance the better flowing filter.

CAI seems to be the trick...intake wise....i'll eventually fit one.
