Was at my local ford dealer yesterday asking about upgrading my car, and there was a white typhoon sitting inside which i had no intention of buying, but while i was looking at it the person i was talking to mentioned they were only making 230 of them to keep it a limited addition thing! This was news to me, has anyone else heard this?

I havent heard anything along those lines at all, however that doesnt mean anything! However, I would doubt that is the case, given the hype surrounding the car, and such a fact not being made public! Perhaps it was a reference to the colour or something????

Once that was mentioned i asked again to make sure i heard correctly and they said they were only making 230 full stop! And then she said depending on how they go, Ford might make another batch of them, but for the moment its only 230.

I hope they are wrong! I hope they make a shitload more than 230. I saw a blue one today and its one of they sexiest fords ive ever seen!

I have had a dealer in QLD tell me this as well, so the info's come from somewhere, mind you the same dealer had no idea how many kw's the F6 had, what the interior options were or much of anythng else.

230? That can't be possible. People have taken delivery of their Typhoons with build numbers > 100. The car has only been released for a couple of months and there are a whole bunch of buyers who have to wait for their cars to get built for Feb and I'm one of them. That dealer should go wash his mouth and get his information from more reliable sources.
