Hi all,

For the second week in a row I have run a new PB in my ute. At Calder park tonight I managed to run an 11.796 @ 119.07mph. with a 60ft of 1.828 once again on street legal dot approved radial tyres.

I ran with my tailgate on and I have a roller shutter on the tub that was also on the ute. I even left my front ladder bar on.

I had other 11 second runs on the night with higher mph but my 60ft times let me down so there is more in her yet.

A big thank you to Peter and the crew at APS for all of the work and effort they have put into the ute, to my knowledge this is the fastest privately owned BA Falcon in the country over the 1/4 mile on street tyres.

Sorry for blowing my own trumpet but I am pretty pumped at the moment and pround of my everyday work ute.

You should be VERY pumped about it! It's awesome to hear more amazing times from these APS turbo BAs.

How does it go on the fuel around town?

I think it's pretty good on fuel for the power it makes. I use Mobil synergy and I average about 460km per tank of fuel around town with some freeway driving.

It is an auto, I am running the conrods from the LPG engine which are a bit stronger than the turbo ones. (No where near billet strength though) So I run 334rwkw, so far so good

The auto has had the line pressure increased and I have an electronic shift kit fitted for harder shifting to stop flaring. Other than that she is stock as a rock in the drive train department.
