They should be more consistent with there testing and try to control there test environments better.
Maybe, but I think Ford clearly has a consistency problem with their cars. Ther seems to be some considerable variation in rear-wheel power figures at least between individual cars. Maybe this was a slow 'Phoon that was tested.
I reckon that the motor magazine guys are MARK OASTLERS best mates. I stopped reading street machine because of his one eyed opinions. The guy is a tosser. Lets hope that this f6 can go better than that, because you can be dam sure the hsv will.
Yeah Probably Now Because We Are Winning At The Track, But I Read Every Issue Of Street Machine Since I Was 12 And When He Came Along I Just Couldn't Stomach It Anymore Even Stopped Watching V8's Because The Sound Of His Voice Drove Me Nuts.
They spend virtually the whole edition bagging every aspect of the Typhoon even comparing its intercooler to the EVO and calling the Ford one a second hand cut down truck part or something. Fact is the EVO has to have a bigger intercooler because it runs much higher boost (thus more heat) whereas at the low boost pressures of the Ford, a massive intercooler would just cause more lag.
Yeah I think there is very little question of the fact that Motor has decided to chuck a tantrum over the flat-shifting debarcle, but I feel the Typhoon may also not be everything it is supposed to be. Wingeing, lying, journos or dud performance car? I think the truth lies somewhere between.
