Ordered my Phantom XR6T yesterday, subject to a test drive. Ford feel if i don't like it after a test drive they'll be able to sell it anyway. But i doubt that will happen!

I got a few freebies also;
Momo wheel, momo gear knob, tint and XR kick plates.

Found out a few more things. GT RRP is $68k. Some mention of a GTHO with 385Kw

If you dont mind me asking, what was the drive-away price?

I am looking at XR6 and XR6-T, but I think I will settle with the standard XR6. Cant afford the Turbo.

$48 on road.

The sales guys told me that 1/3 of customers interested in the XR6T end up getting the XR6 base. Just can't push it for the T.

But being from the WRX generation, i wouldn't buy a BA if it wasn't for the T.

I didn't trade in anything. This will be my wifes car, so we gave her 1990 Camry away.

Collection, well at the motor show i've been told as far as march, but my dealer thinks possibly quicker. I think around January. I told him i'd have his children if i can get it before Christmas. Fingers crossed.

Some other options i got was tow pack, prestige paint, audio in for MP3 player. And the dealer thinks he received some info that power adjust pedals will now be available on manuals. If so, I’m getting that to because I’m 6’3 and my wife is a short arse. I don't see why they can't, all american cars have it!

Ahem, no they don't, my 2001 Impala nor the replacement 2003 Impala doesn't have them. Remeber though, most US cars are automatics.
