I am in the market for some mods for the car, and was wondering what people had done to theirs and the gains that they have achieved. Also a rough guide to the cost of these mods.

At the cost of soundling a broken record... Edit mate, its your best bang for bucks, then look at the Dump pipe and cat and zorst and air filter.

ALl of these mods will give you some great results.

Thats fine, i don't mind listening. Can a edit combined with those other mods gain 300@wheels without bigger injectors? I have heard people talking about getting this figure, but seems a little high

You will need bigger injectors for 300kw so i have been told.

What was involved in your gains? I assume its an APS kit, what exactly do they do?

Im finishing Hypnodocs Typhoon in the next few days with bigger injectors. Ill post the dyno graphs ect when we are done :)

Could you post general 'stages' of developement with the F6, would make an interesting read..

like..

stage - edit = x kw
stage- edit + injectors = x kw
stage- edit + dump = x kw
stage- edit + dump + inj = x kw

etc etc..

time consuming maybe, but if someone wants x amount of power, then it would be a straight up to go to you and get what is required without the general banter..

Stage one=Get an F6
This will be your bigest hurdle let alone going to stage two etc,
Stage two= Will the clutch hang in there?
Stage three = 2006> maybe consider an Edit if Stage one and two have eventuated

Hang on, your beginning to sound like me. 2006, i dont think so... they have to fit the prem option aswell remember.

How much would you expect to gain with custom tuned edit, exhaust, cat and filter? Don't really want to touch the injectors or fuel pump if i can get good gains out of the other mods
