I have visited a Ford dealer and got the following price on an Auto, altho i will prolly go for manual, Premuim Sound, Side Airbags, Sunroof, 18" wheels, Leather, Prestige Paint.

I have been given a price of $51,800 on road. Does this seem like a good price for the car and options listed? Also can anyone recommend a dealer in Melbourne that will really look after customers?

Thats an excellent price IMO for all those options.

Have you considered going for the luxury pack. Costs around $4500 but includes the side bags, premium sound & leather and also adds climate control and few other minors bells and whistles. Probably wouldnt add much to your price especially if you do decide to drop the auto.

l have bought our last 3 cars from New Oak Ford and been happy with them until recently where they have refused to look after me regarding my driveline shunt issue. They may be worth a try but you have been offered an excellent price so it may not be worth your time.

Only found out about the Luxury Pack yesterday, dude at the dealer never mentioned it!

Good to hear thats a good price and I will take up the luxury pack.

Have you heard any details on the F6 and its anticipated delivery date?

Sounds like a very nice car Gonzo, great price too.

The latest l have heard on the F6 is an October release, but who really knows.

l will give Dave a call shortly and let you know what he reckons.

AFAIK With the luxury pack , the seats arnt full leather , only on the bolsters whereas the leather option is full leather - Someone correct me if im wrong tho....

Who in Melbourne are doing good deals on new cars.I was quoted for a brand new XR6T with auto,premium sound,xr scuff plates and the Momo gear,driveaway with a full tank of fuel $44800.00.Is that a good deal,or is it the going price.Another question I need answered,should I go auto or manual.Which is better to drive?

I have to agree thats, only $200 more than my Xr6 N/A, that I am waiting for delivery on.
It was going to be another $6500 for the turbo.

You may be right,it could be a 03' plated car,I will find out during the week.A friend bought a manual XR6T 5 months ago,the only option premium sound and he paid $43100.00 d/away,thats why I thought $44800.00 for the auto was the going price.
