I think one of the real pleasures of browsing fordforums is the high number of objective posts – such as the one above. It seems that other forums are generally a little more naïve and ignorant. What can you do?
If you said something like "who cares , holdens are shite and always will be in my eyes as they are the competition" here, you would probably get told to pull in your head in pretty quick smart!
i got through about 10 posts and realised most of them probably don't even own a car, let alone a learners permit. They prob sit at their computers typing with one hand while looking at a fully sik vl commodore....

Yep mate, its a left handed forum if i hav ever seen one!
'who cares , fords are shite and always will be in my eyes as they are the competition'
yeah gg dickwit. i too hate the whole '[car] is crap' (touched on in My whinge: Quoting performance figures) and i recently had an argument with someone who said "dude dont tell anyone but i hear fords are shithouse... get over fords" to which i replied "well, get back to me with some substantial evidence to back up your claim". i was then hit with "show me a good ford...<---my claim in a nutshell. ah yes.. the silence". after some semi-heated discussion, he said that when it comes to best go for your money, he'd take a Passat up against a GT anyday. Errrm.. am I missing something here or has mankind's intelligence gone down a notch?
