I am very interested to know just what Ford is going to do for you Scram as I am shocked. Is your car fairly stock or what 's done to it mate ? I take it you were in top gear ? ( Auto or manual ? )

Re: self destruct @230kph

I just bought a XR6T Ute (BF) & gone 240km - 250km and nothing happened yet, still smooth and very stable, no shakes, no "speed wobbles", nothing happened... just scared sh*tless cuz it was in a 60K zone on a public holiday against a 2003 WRX STI =P

Dude thats just plain dumb 4 times the speed limit on a public road. to bad if you hurt or killed somebody. you'd be looking at a long jail term. if you wanna race the ricers do it on a race track.

Re: self destruct @230kph

Lucas,
The street had no people living in it, it's a long straight 2 lane road, only trees & bushes, all you can see is 1 almost perfect straight line (like a runway), everyone does 80, but it's a 60 zone for some strange reason cars or no cars you can see very clearly + we both had "high beams" on to see clearly. It's a perfectly safe road to test top speeds... all we were afraid of were animals coming from nowhere.
