After lots of running around I finally ordered my F6 Tornado this afternoon.

Herrod Lowered Suspension
Herrod Stealth



I spoke to FPV on the phone while I was at McInerney Ford and indeed Mandarin is no longer available. The allocation of Mandarin paint has all been dried up and it's no longer an option for any Ford vehicle. Damnit.
Decided on Mercury Silver in the end.
With the lowered suspension and dark tint it'll be one sinister ute!!

Build number is still to be confirmed, but I'll know by early next week if I've got what I've requested.

Well done.... Silver.... hell, that doesn't go with the fruit theme... But a good choice regardless....


As for $$, gotta remember the options on the ute are far more than the sedan, Hard lid for one is near $2k.. stamps is $3.2k, stealth $1.3 odd and suspension they flog for $800...... on top of a $52.5k base doesn't leave much room.. If they flog u delivery, near $1k + rego...
Anyway, it's leased so it cost Bugga all

Delivery date is in July. When I confirm the build number on monday I'll then confirm the delivery date aswell.

Hey I know where there is a Murcury Silver Tornado if you want to see one in the flesh so as to get your head around that colour.
Mandarin would have been better hehehhe The cooks car is Murcury Silver and suits the Fairmont Ghia.
