Had my car, ba2T6sp flash tuned by a what i thought was a reputable dealer, any way, after a while, under certain conditions, would start pinging, after i took it back a couple of times to the original place. Anyway, got it re-flashed at this new place, and it runs harder and smoother with no pinging at all, but, had trouble finding reverse. It is a 6spM, and went to drive it out their workshop but couldn't find R. Anyway the other guy got in and found it. You have to really forcefully force it across before slotting it into R, so much more so than before. Thought it may have been from a few dyno runs and the clutch being a bit hot/warm. But the next day was still the same. Anybody had similar things go wrong? What should I do.........?

Your tuner doesnt sound reputable if hes mistakenly flashed T5 software on your computer when he shouldve flashed the M6 one. You see, the M6 has a lock out solenoid to stop you selecting reverse by mistake when exceeding 5 km/h in a forward gear. As you now dont have the software to control the solenoid, its in lockout mode thus force is required to overcome this state and select reverse. Go back and give him an earfull. If he claims there's no difference then Id be scared and demand a refund and go someplace else. Where are you? I can recommend tuners.

Max, sounds like the problem I have. It does go into reverse but a lot more force is required, so much more than before. Thought this place was reputable, as i had to take it there to get a flash re-done from somewhere else. I am from the Shire in sydney if you can recommend any reputable places. Cheers.
