Turbo Timer Running While Locking Your Car

Has anyone found a way to bypass the locking system on the XR6T, so that the turbo timer can run whilst you lock your car and walk away, instead on having to wait for the cars engine to stop running before you lock the car.
Thanks Luke

Yep take the stupid thing off !!!!!
If they needed it they would have put it on.
But hey the accessory shops need to make some money.
Had turbo vehicles for nearly 30 years never had a timer yet.
WRX subi done nearly 300,000k's no timer same turbo.
Question is WHY do you need one ?????

Mate, the BA comes with internal plumbing to keep fluids circulating after you switch the car off. If your dealer told you that it was your fault, he needs shooting.

And don't worry 'bout RED250, the reason he never needed a timer was the cars he drove never came on boost.

LMAO.......

Go find a decent auto sparky and have him chage the power curcuit to suite
you must allow the turbo to spool down or stand a chance of oil carbonising the lines and in time will cost $$$$$$$$
A turbo times shoulld be installed off keyswitch the first time .

Re: Turbo Timer Running While Locking Your Car

just lock it with the key... you stick the key in the door and turn it, and she locks, with the timer running...
