I have just been informed that the turbo int he XR6T isn't a GT40? Of course I said otherwise but is this true? I was told that Ford only put the GT40 into the demo model and a lesser one into the production one. I hope not. Look this could all turn out to be crap but well I just want to prove the person wrong (even though i did show them the article in Motor).

Turbo IS a Garratt GT40.

listen mate, i have heard all sorts of rumours in the last couple of days and i wonder if it is just people trying to bursts Ford's bubble. They are just starting to get the ball rolling. Some people can't cop Ford's so lets try and make up something and try to kill the hype! Sounds like some people should get a life and this is in no way directed towards you 104625. It is directed at those that start these romours without any facts to back it up! Cheers!

nah thats cool man...i feel stupid for having even raising the topic, i mean i have been checking all the news on this car ever since late last year early this yr...i remember ford saying they went for the higher end gt40 as the other lesser one wasn't as good...yeah i think these are jelous ppl who just cannot hack Ford finally doing something good. Good on Ford, keep on going Geoff!!!
