At the end of the day the Typhoon will always be a better pakage for modding but this is what people need to figure out as for Tornado, what do you need, the Typhoon stock and the T stock the T is quicker get over it....Every magazine has come to the same conclusion.Modded it will be a different story and i hope it is. I`m not saying your car is crap but reality check is in Ford fashion the T is quicker than the F6 stock.
I have driven a XR6 T and a F6, the F6 thumps the XR6T in every aspect. The F6 is a weapon. When my GT was stock it ran a 13.7 the F6 felt just as quick if not quicker.

So youre saying that anyone who prefers to reasearch a car before buying one is a wanker? Not everyone can afford to just go out and buy a car thats close to $70k and then spend more and more dollars trying to get it to go the way it ought to from day one. As for driving one, it's a bit difficult right now, seeing as our local dealer doesnt have a Typhoon available (you might have noticed they have had a clutch problem). You are right though, FPV do need to make them with the bigger injectors and the edit. As soon as these things start performing STANDARD I will be buying one.

Yeah there is a large member count here who only believes what they read and require printed proof on everything that is mentioned.

Then they pick the cherries out and only quote the bits that suit them… Not hard to forge a time slip or produce a Graph that isn’t even your own car ahhahahahahh

This is only a Forum and not the court house as some would think and as such read and believe what you will. Right or wrong who really cares its an public information site and as such anything and everything will be posted wright or wrong …....who cares I would like think Most members are smart enough to know what is fact and what is fiction!!!!!
The only thing you can be sure of is every minute you live you’re a minute closer to DEATH!!!!
Enjoy
Btw: Ben you get a Delivery date From Ford yet?

Re: The Typhoon Clutch Fix

Ok I am bias becasue I own an F6. But are we talking about the better car or value for money? While I would agree the XR6T is great value for money. I believe the F6 is a better car.

If you compare apples with Apples, stock vs. stock a manual Mkii 6 Speed XR6T vs. the F6 typhoon. The Typhoon wins! I have proven this a number of times, on private tracks of course

Also incedentally I think the F6 is comparable in the value for money department too. If you optioned up a T only with the the bits an F6 has; interior, wheels, clutch, intercooler, edit, valve springs, body kits, etc.. you would probably have a slighly faster better car more suited to your likes, but who wants to copy an F6?

Realistically if you were to buy and XR6T and option the stuff you can, i.e. premium interior, leather seats, 18" rims, etc. And spend the extra on an APS stage 2 kit. Again you wold have a faster car with comparable asthetics.

But you wouldn't have an FPV and you wouldn't have a warranty.
