Re: The Typhoon Clutch Fix

A waste of time explaining yourself Simon!!!
Some people only venture out from behind their computer screen to buy the motor magazine and have never been to a drag meeting in their life.
If it’s not written in the mag it’s just not true …. Or if it was written in a Mag it must be true and everything else is just lies and pure speculation…….Simple…..

The times vary on all mags on all models of cars and there is so many factors contributing to the times it’s just not worth going through them as 90% of members all understand them.

@Stange65.

Well that’s shows how little you have to offer this topic and would suggest you have never driven one of the 80 sold F6’s ever produced to date.
The Lag, or the way it comes on boost as you call it, is totally different to most turbo cars and if you have driven an F6 you would know that from as low as 1800RPM it has more torque than the GT and just pulls like a train, then if you drive a WRX you would also know it wont kick you in the back until @4000+RPM and that is the feeling that gives you the “Feel” of power…Bumometer….The Turbo in an F6 does not drive like the Rice burners simple.

Sorry for not beliving ,but there is so much bullshit that goes through this thread, time and time again especially when peoplecant except facts that in stock formnot including may issue which is with a series2 the series 1 is quicker than the F6
These GT owners have a pretty good feel for a car and also probably in a financial situation to be able to buy or test drive one and comment on the outcome and Id say well qualified to do so and as such I value their opinion more so than most others.
I know for a fact that Most if not all Car dealers were only allowing existing Valued customers to even test drive the F6 and hence only a few people besides the owners of the 80 sold have even driven one.
Six months time and with the clutch fixed should sort the sh!t out from the clay!!!

If you can’t afford one then don’t buy one.
If you don’t like them don’t buy one.
If you think the T is faster well Buy one.
Your choice pal… no one else’s.

To come on this site and insult Moderators and members and question their honesty like you have done here with GT-P330, FPVGT & Hypnodoc I think is only asking for trouble and an insult to them personally….and only confirms what I already had suspected…You know SFA

Hi Stang65, i asked Simon if he could post my Standard BA GT 1/4 mile run mate as i have no idea how to post a pic.In regarding TURBO performance with V8 performance, well u have a point but i do realise how a Turbo car is much different to a V8 or any N/A vechile.I can still tell that the F6 is a very quick car. There was another 2 people from this forum that also went for a spin and one of those also has a GT-P with a few mods and he said the same thing.Interesting though the 3rd person actually went out and ordered one after our test drive.

1)I can afford one but wouldn`t buy an unfinnished product.
2)I`m not buying one i think ford could have done better.
3)You still didn`t read my post ,i actually own one.

My whole point you only read the bits that suit u ,thats twice i told you i own one.
What i am saying is the way the power comes on in a v8 is different to the way it comes on with the turbo.
But it anyway the issue is its not the first time you have come out and said the stock F6 is quicker than the stock xr6t even when everybody eles says it isn`t but I suppose you need to justify your purchase i don`t.You can even ask doc who originally said the F6 was a dissapointment.

Just because some body is a mod etc does not mean what they put up on the site is undisputable,i did not insult anybody, what i did is question them and it seems by the replies I got back that I was insulted.i have not personally attacked you like you have me but u can live in your own world for all i care. I have followed Doc`s history with the F6 and it has not been pretty, i respect Doc and again did not attack him.It seems that when people get on to these forums they like to attack people if not to their liking.CDAA a little dissapointed in your post now i`m not entitled to an opinion. Oh well. GTP 330 I thought I had seen a post when you first got edited withsome dissapointing first results at the strip maybe I am wrong should i go look ,u tell me I`m wrong if i`m wrong I`m wrong .

Mate at least you think I have point , the others were first to pounce. As I said these days you do have to ask the questions as what people post isn`t necessarily always the truth.

Ok, I think things are getting out of hand. No body here should feel insulted. Don't you just love how things can get all twisted and taken out of context on internet forums? I'm sorry you’re disappointed in my one line comment, but can't help but feel your reading into it Way too much. You claimed 'seat of your pant's' feeling meant shit in a turbo car and being a turbo owner I simply disagreed and sided with Simon's humorous reference to the ' Bum-Ometer' or lack of. It was not a personal attack on you my friend and was definately not meant to offend you either. All I know is my twin turbo give s me so much seat of your pant’s feeling, that I’m having to wash them more regularly.

Guys lets please lighten up the mood in here. It's been a loooong week.

Like i said your wrong, my car ran a 13.9 no edit, 13.1 editted, what other ppl do with there edits or tuners do is not my concern, what is my concern is my customers, GTP-738 is one of those who also has run a 13.1 with standard headers and cats with again my tune, pre edit 13.7...

Lets just drop the whole thing and head back to the topic.....
