at least were agreeing now that a slightly moded sc6 will beat a XR6 TURBO over the 1/4 now

Latest update: last week, with probably just less than 15L of fuel in tank + removed hard cover + spoiler... I ran a 14.33... I was told it was pretty good being an Auto stock Ute.

With you reported RWKW, you should in the 13's. Have you been stalling the car up and letting the rear tyres down to around 22PSI?

These should help you drop your 60' time down. What was your MPH on the 14.33run?

With the RWKWs I wish I could make it to 13s, but being auto I guess I just dunno how to start faster than keeping the rev to 1800 before releasing the brakes... or prolly i'm just a shit driver Btw, I remembered my mate tellin me I was doing 98.7mph or something like that.
2 days ago I just wacked in a new K&N air filter... felt a little bit of difference... tad bit faster on 2nd gear... still waiting for more mods before next dyno run or 1/4 mile.

thats what they do, i dont think a xr6 does that stock
I suggest you have a look at this link from fordxr6turbo.com on some 1/4 times from stock xr6 turbos.

back on topic, has anyone seen any VE commies run down the quater on in any street races?(P.S. I no that street racing is bad and all just wondering if anyone has seen them go)

Had a bit of a run last sunday against ve ss sedan in my 03 auto xr8 ute.Rolling start,he got the jump,but powered past him in 2nd all the way to the limiter.Maybe he was still running it in dont know?
he didnt look to happy bout it.
Pacemakers,2.5 inch s/s zorst,underdrives.BPT tuned,SS coldair,Bmc filter.
I was pretty surprised myself but dont open up the old girl much these days due to nasty policemen.
Made my sunday tho!
