Vic Plates for XR6T???

Saw a blueprint XR6 turbo last night in Melbourne with Vic Plates XRT-603 or something like that. Weird thing is they were exactly the same as normal rego plates and had "victoria palce to be" on the bottom.. Are these a one off for Ford company vehicles or new range of letters numbers???

Re: Vic Plates for XR6T???

I'd say they are a set of plates ordered from VicRoads, I can't remember the cost (not too expensive I'm pretty sure).

If the plates haven't been issued already you can request specific plates for a small premium.

The combination of XRT / 3 numbers you're talking about is probably custom, should be able to be had if not yet taken and may even be cheaper because full-size with "Vic the Palace to Be" is standard issue

Otherwise $310 for most available combinations. Click the link below:

Vicroads Plate Fees

This price covers most colour combinations and the slimline option as well.

Ring 131171, ask them to check the combination you want and they'll tell you if it's available, how much it will cost and you can order them there and then used a credit card.

Happy Hunting.

Re: Vic Plates for XR6T???

anyone know how much it is to get a new set of slimline plates? My car was in an accident, and my current plates are stuffed.

thanks :)

Click the underlined link in my previous mail and that will take to to the list of fees. If no good, call the number I've listed.

Re: Vic Plates for XR6T???

It's 33 bux for a single slimline using your existing number. No discounts if you get more than one.

I know this 'cos I brought slimline ones for the front of a nother car recently.

Re: Vic Plates for XR6T???

It used to be really cheap to have custom plates in the standard plate style, $150 or so but they've recently raised the price
