Hey does anyone have a sound clip of a XR6T? i really wanna know what it sound like! I did hear one the other day with an aftermarket exhuast, and from what i remember it sounded like a TT supra or GTR!

Yeah I saw one the other day at Calder. It almost sounds like an NA car until it reaches high revs. I suppose with an aftermarket exhaust and some other mods the car will sound beausty. I hope to see and hear some XR6Ts with plenty of mods! :)

Venom XR

I followed a Acid Rush XR6T into a car park in a Penrith shopping centre last Saturday, and then walked behind a Blueprint XR6T walking to the station in the city the other day. Both times the cars were at lows revs, with a nice rumbling burble emanating from the rear. Very nice!

yeah love the burble that the supra produces, i reckon it sounds tops.

BA GT-HO

I have heard the XR6T and the XR8 both and at idle the XR6T is so much louder! Think skyline. Just a deep burble, and once the revs creep up a bit you can actually the turbo spooling. (this was with the bonnet up, dunno if you could hear it with it down). Must say it did surprise me when i first heard it.

I saw one coming home from work at the lights the other week. I gave him the thumbs up and he took of pretty fast. It is actually a pretty loud car for stock. I like it!

yeah love the skyline burble, sort of similar to a TT supra. At high revs hey sound magic!

Lightning

With no radio on and a window open, I could hear the turbo whine, during my test drive tonight.

I'm now 99% close to signing on the dotted line before the end of this week (see my other thread).

I asked for a drive of the XR8, but was asked to wait until they register it. Those serious in wanting to purchase one are preferred at the mo', fair enough. Heard it though, nice.

I like the TS and TE series' too.
