To the best of my knowledge this part of the forum is dedicated to the BA XR6 Turbo. A place where those with the car or an interest in the car can share their thoughts. A place i might add NO ONE IS FORCED TO VISIT.
After reading through the post tonight i was P...Off to see that someone felt the need to insult the owners of all 6 cyclinder cars.

I dont appreciate someone I dont know. Who I now doesn't know me, insulting me.

Aussie Pete: to the best of my knowledge no one forces you to read or participate in the "BA XR6T" section of the forum.This is a decision that you make.

I can see from your post: " BA FPV Pursuit 290 5M, Mercury, Brembos, Leather, FPV Wheel, Prestige Sound.", that you own an FPV ute. I love V8's but i need 4 doors. At this moment in time I cant justify spending an extra $30k on the GT with little difference in performance compared to the XR6T. If money wasnt an option i would definately have considered buying the GT.
I personally love the sound that both the XR8 and all the FPV vehicles make, their engines have a great note. I'm also very happy with my XR6T and I enjoy the fact that it can match or beat its V8 brothers.
I would assume that anyone spending $50k+ on a car would do research on the cars on offer and make an educated decision when choosing the car they wish to purchase. You obviously haven't done this.
By choosing to insult people you dont know with schoolyard insults, you show a dissatisfaction with your own purchase, aswell as a lack of intelligence.
If you have nothing positive to add to the Turbo forum dont visit it, and we'll all probably be alot happier.

On the flipside of the coin, you don't know AP, nor do I believe you are in understanding of the "personality" of the forums.

In all honesty, if posts like those made by AP were anything other than good natured rivalry, they would be removed, as they are not sinister, they stay, however comments like AP has made are just good natured rivalry between the 6 and the 8 cylinder enthusiasts of the forums, and should be treated as such.

It might have been a good idea to get to know a little more about the forum and its dynamics before jumping on this particular band wagon.

You are going to need to be considerably thicker skinned than your post indicates to survive around here.
