Smile What (a) Service!!

Had my car in for its 3000kms service last week. I had it serviced at Courtney and Patterson, here in Victoria. There were no issues with the car or the service.

But how about this, I informed my dealer (Adam Chaplain) that I would need a loaner for the day as it was going to be me and the kids for the day and needed transport. No worries he says, let me see what I can organise.

I rock up at the dealership with the "T" and he picks me up takes me to the main yard and says here you go, we've got you this.

It was a new (9000kms anyway) Fairmont Ghia!! Had Sat Nav and all the tricks, sensational. I thought I was going to get a car from the used car lot!! Best of all, no cost!

Well, the car needed to go back to the dealer on Wednesday to have the bonnet redone due to a paint imperfection. they said three days, we'll get you another car.

My wife rocks up with the "T', same treatment, and he takes her to teh car we get for the three days. A brand new (4000kms) Fairlane Ghia!! woohoo, what a nice car. Had the whole box and dice, sat nav etc but more importantly (from the kids perspective) was that it also had the DVD REX fitted for the rear passengers!! First time the kids have fought over who sits in the back, and then who gets the middle!! Unheard of!

Picked the "T" up today and she looks fantastic!!

To those who are in the area, I highly recommend Courntey and Patterson, I couldn't have asked for more, except maybe for a GT!!!

Great service, I hope you all receive similar from your dealers!!!

Heeyyyyy, now THAT'S IMPRESSIVE!!

How did the Ghia go? I'd imagine it would've felt like a slug after the "T", unless you're going to tell us it was a V8??

Re: What (a) Service!!

No V8, but a great driving car, so smooth on the road.

The kids want to get rid of the "T" and get a car with TV in it!!

Didn't feel like a slug at all, although I also had no inclination to give it a hard time!!

Re: What (a) Service!!

Courtenay and Patterson are definately a great dealer...their sales staff are couteous and pay attention to everyone who is there (not just the older guy who looks like he might buy a car). My brother-in-law got his XR6 there and they were great.

Great to see that Dealer Service is still alive in some places.
