Whats the chance of a BA Turbo manifold fitting onto a pre-Ba engine?

Any BA engineers out there? Are the exhaust ports and bolt pattern the same as previous Falcons? Or did you have to go and change it to piss us all off

I would say the ports would be different. Given that the ports would have been played with because of the new valve arrangement.

I would have thought they'd changed it to make it a better engine... :s6:

The interesting this would be fitting an entire Barra 240T engine.
When the car comes out I'll be on the look out for a Xr6 that got totally demolished apart from the motor and ecu!!
Imagine a 240T in an EA-EL. Or even better a CORTINA!!!

There are a few aftermarket options for I6 turbos going around at the moment.. here's a few pics I took at the recent Ford / Holden show at Homebush a few weekends back...

Mmmm I would love a black or Navy Blue ED XR6 with a 240T engine and Tremec 3650 box.
