has anyone else ordered a XR6t. i would like to know this just to see if their order has been delayed. I ordered mine on the 18th oct and it was due for the 25 nov, but now it has been delayed until the 8th dec. I was wondering if i was entitled to a loan car because i sold my last car and am carless. i wsh they could have told me about the delay earlier.

By the way did anyone get a discount from the rrp, i did but i doubt you could now afer coty and all.

Good stuff. i nearly went for narooma blue,but chose mercury silver.

they are now producing full capacity turbo engines, 35 a day so they should be able to pump out enough to keep the cars rolling out at a good pace!
i realise it doesn't sound to much, but its a much harder task creating turbos and apparently telstra recently ordered 500 turbos, so u do the maths and u may realise y there could be or has been some delays with turbos
i'm happy to wait... i wish everyone else is

Why would Tel$tra want turbos? Hopefully its so they can get out and fix their f*** ups a lot quicker...
BTW, why is it harder to make a turbo engine?

well they have to modify engine to suit turbo, lower compression and different pistons.

Why would they modify the engine? They make the engine. Just fit different parts when building it in the first place.

Ordered a blueprint, auto xr6t. Ordered Oct, told March 03 bloody, f#*#, S#%*. Dealer and Ford are trying to get it sooner, maybe, Jan or Feb. Fingers crossed.

Yer I know, but I am purchasing through my company at a huge discount and nearly all dealers want to sell at retail. Can't blame them, or can I.
