Hey any of the perth xr6t/typhoon guys keen to meet up at kwinana on the 21/09/05? I'l be bringing my ute down that night then again on the 28/7/05 would be good to run against some other tweaked T'sand Phoon's...!

Hi mate,
I am going down tonight in my XR8, nice day for it. also an xt220 with some bolt on's.

I am racing a mate in his VXSS, should be a good night as long as nothing blows up.

I'll be there, but won't be racing. Be nice to see some BA's going for it though. Plus it's been too long since the season ended. Friday the 30th there will be Ford-v-Holden with Burnout comp.

im not going till they have had a big meeting and set up the track propperly, once the tracks been prepped ill be there with bells on

Yeah no more greasy track for me,last meeting was a shithole.Need some hot days and cool nights.

was the track pretty loose last week? im praying it doesnt rain because ive taken leave from work so i can get down there.....do you guys know a good tire supplier that could hook me up with some 16x12 slicks? simon do u plan to run your typhoon on slick or just streets when u head down?

Just got back from the Plex. There were a lot of Ford's there including BA's.
Got some film, including very good footage of the SS slaming into the wall. Very spectacular, and even though it is/was a holden, still pitty the bloke.

If people who were there, want copies on DVD can be arranged. Most of it being the T's and other BA's (approx 30min.)

Maybey it is just me, but I suspect that the track wasn't very grippy judging by the times...

your diagnosis on the track was right. the purple xr6t ute that was spinning into third was me. id love to get a copy of the dvd cept i dont wanna c how crap my driving was (i had a shocker of a night!!! fastest time was a 13.4) i know it has it in it to go quicker but traction is killing me. was pretty keen to run slicks till i saw the ss get all loose and have a love affair with the wall.....may have been an ss but u have to feel sorry for the bloke. hope he's okay was a pretty hard hit!
