The way I see it The Motor and wheels have had the advantage of having the last laugh and the latest mag show it even if some of it is hypocritical when compared to the previous issue.
Most of the motoring public will read and believe what you people write and as such Ford and PFV have shot them self in the foot big time by accusing you people of flat shifting and destroying what they said they couldn’t. (The clutch)
I don’t blame either magazine or journalist for the latest editorials on the comparison which would indicate a bitter taste is still left in most if not all of the jurno’s.
What’s that old saying? “Payback’s a B!tch”
Maybe if and when the F6 is ever sorted out maybe Ford and FPV could have you write up an apology from them and make some effort to explain the faults the accusations and the fix regarding the clutch and then maybe with a decent F6 with a decent clutch could be tested and an new report published good or bad but at least without the friction and bad blood that currently exists.
Either way Ford should not have mouthed off and should have taken the faulty vehicles and looked at the Clutch problem which has now come back and bitten them fair and square on the ass.
The way I see it is Ford need to do 3 things to rectify this fiasco and that is:
Publicly apologise to the magazine people and have it published in both magazines.
Rectify the clutch problem 100%.
Finally set the PCM to produce the correct engine output that this vehicle warrants. (285kw)(550nm)
Or the F6 could die a slow death! or is it dead already ???????????
