BA XR6 Turbo:

Used my wipers for the first time today in the rain, and to my dissappointment I discovered the first fault on the car.

I hit the spray button and watched the wipers wipe the window about three times and as the dropped to stop they came back up about 1/4 of the windscreen and stopped there.

Then when I put the intermitten wipers on they wipe 3/4 the way up the window and stop, then after a delay go all the way up and stop just before the bottom, about 1/10th of the way up the window.

The single wipe is the same, it only wipes if you hold it, if you let go the blades just stop there, where ever that is and don't go back down automatically.

The low and high work fine however.

Any ideas as to why they are going spastic?
