btw the 3 % price increase is true, and is only on orders that are made next year, as for cars that are on order before Jan 1 2003 you wont have to wear the 3%. Anyways a 3% increase on a $45000 car is only about $1350 bucks anyways, which could be the difference between getting extras, and not getting extras.

Can anyone clarify this?
Firstly, I've been told it is 2% across the board by 2 different dealers.
Secondly, my understanding is that even if you order an XR6T now, the increase will apply as it will be an '03 build. You can avoid it, but only if you're lucky enough to get an '02 build (like a cancelled order).

My mate ordered his turbo about 4 weeks ago and was told to expect it in two weeks. What a load of rubbish.

It too has a sunroof, and its sitting in melbourne ready to go, but FPV are still putting the sunroof in...

Maybe people shouldn't order the sunroof.

i ordered mine with a sunroof and they told me they wont be fitting sunroofs in factory till feb. they said i have a choice of not having a sunroof or getting it fitted by the dealer. so i opted for the dealer to fit it. i am now told dec 5 plus 2 days to fit the roof. My original delivery date was 21/nov. i beleive them now cause i hasseled the shit out of them to get my engine and chasis number asap. and now i have those numbers.. cant wait

Well I spoke to my dealer today, what an experience. He said there is no SIDO number for my car yet, he said ' we can't just place orders for these XR6T's, they are allocated in limited quantities for customers to order.' Im sick of it, but Im just gonna wait. Also, he told me 2% increase next year, and I said 'who cares, that won't effect me anyway. No response. So, basically, I know no more than I did yesterday. Its still scheduled for 'around' Febuary.
