Back to this 3%. My question is if you order the vehicle during 2002, but do not get it delivered until 2003 due to supply problems are you then slugged with this price hike?
Sorry unconfirmed price increase.

Anyone know anything?
With this comment, I'm only going by what I've been told by a few Ford workers.
Ford could match Holdens daily output, but it would run the workers into the ground and the quality would go down the toilet.

If your car is ordered before a price increase you should get the lower price and don't let the dealer tell you any different!!

So if you order between now and the end of the year you won't pay the extra "3%".

And FYI dealers WILL NOT be out of pocket, whatever they try to tell you if you order now and get delivery after a price increase. They submit claims to their parent and get either remibursed for the difference or have the car reinvoiced at the lower price.

Best advice......

Order now!!! Avoid the price rise!!!

I can tell you for one, the people at ford are not being LAZY.
My old man works on the production line, and his been asked to workover time everyday inc saturday/sunday for the last 2-3 weeks. I think all this is to increase the amount of cars coming off the lines. can't put exact figures... i forgot em.
But yer... xr6 turbo on my P's would go down nice, but i reckon cops will pull me up every day.

*wonders if its worth taking off the turbo badge* hehehehe

Wink XR6T waiting

I originally ordered an XR8 but then I changed my mind because they said I would not see 8 cyls b4 march at least. :-(

So I ordered a XR6 Turbo on the 16th of Oct. I have the SIDO number. The first delivery date was 18th of Nov, then 21st, then 28th.

I have stopped camping out the front of the dealer waiting for a truck to arrive with an XR6 T with my name on it.

I rang the ford customer service line - 1800 333 306 and quoted my SIDo number. They reckon that the car is ready to go except for the sunroof. It is currently sitting at FPV waiting for the sunroof to be finsihed then loaded onto the truck and delivered to my place.

'cant get enough of this' . . . well I can't get enough of anything yet, Im still waiting :-) . . . . patiently (just)
