XR6 Ute
Just wondering what others thought about the XR8 bonnet on the XR6?

I have noticed that one of the Utes on Mclouds Daughters TV Show has had this done.

The bulge is on the 8's for a reason, it'd just be plain wanky to have it on an XR6t.

The difference between the XR8 and the Turbo ute is about $1000. The XR8 bonnet painted and fitted costs about $2000. Why not just buy the XR8, it would be cheaper. As for people doing it I think its just tryhard. Why make it something its not. A definate wank factor of 10.

The XR8 & GT have a Bulge (tm) for a reason.

The price aftermarket of the XR8 bonnet has probably been done so high because of people putting them on other ford cars. Remembering back when VN SS's and HSV's were coming out, coburg and preston were full of plastic fantastic crapheaps trying to imitate the performance models and were cheaply priced.

Heard the other day the Ford XR 18" wheels are $2500 aftermarket too

before we become to critical,how man of us has had a xw/xy with a shaker poppin out of the bonnet!!!!

I dont agree with it happening either, but it was only a matter of time.
Who ever does it first would want to take the XR6 badges off the car, so they dont look like a total looser.
