Re: XR6 Ute with XR8 Bonnet

It is bad enough the n/a xr6 has the same body kit wheels and front as the xr8 and xr6t. Leave the buldge where it belongs on BOSS engine vehicles ONLY

The Autotek/Hillier Raptor ute has an XR8 bonnet, and it's a 6.

Thats why there are so many ss's and hsv's on the road, oops sorry mock ups. Sure they can do what they want, when they want, but we are allowed to laugh and poke fun at them

I agree and disagree, factory original is the way to go, but I so much want to fit a shaker to my XW to suit the black GS stripe's and tint, the shaker would stand out nicely againt's the limefrost paint, but it's not original, mmn what do I do.

Re: XR6 Ute with XR8 Bonnet

People who put a bulge bonnet on their XR6T should also put a noisy pop off valve on as well to complete their apprenticeship in being a qualified wanker.

This ute will have some serious power to back up its buldge.

Re: XR6 Ute with XR8 Bonnet

I'm with 'Mondie', do whatever you like.
Anyone and everyone will fit bodykits to there standard Falcons, super car wings, etc....
The bulge looks good, whats the problem in making the XR6 look better.
It matters not what's under the bonnet, because the people who fit one, will be doing it for cosmetic reasons. The XR8 looks good with it, why can't an XR6 also look good with it......

For the record, I personally wouldn't do it, but then I'm not into any kind of bodykit.

Rick.

Re: XR6 Ute with XR8 Bonnet

The only real comment you will get from someone next to you who thinks there's an 8 under the bonnet at first glance, is: What a pissy-sounding BOSS.
