Has anybody had there XR6T to the strip yet and what times have they run and what mods , I went to the strip the other night and there was a XR6T running and the best time he got was 15.1 , I hope there was something wrong with this car as I would expect the XR6T's to pull better times than this .

Read this thread. XR_Cam got a best time of 14.1 out of his old XR6T auto.

Have heard unofficial times through a dealer of 13.9 in NZ.

XR6VCT , I had a look at that thread and feel a lot better now knowing the XR6t's seem to be in the low 14's , I think there must have been a driver problem out the track here .

15.1 seems very slow for a Turbo. A N/A EF - AU XR6 can easily pull a 15.1 quarter.

Yes it was a manual

15.1 is very slow for a turbo 6 , the bloke I work with has a late ELXR6 and it has pulled a 15.1 and is stock other than extractors .

yeah but how experianced was the person pulling the quater?
My cousin has a 9 second Capri but do you think I could pull 9's out of it? No I'd get about a 11.
