Just wondering how many people have installed an aftermarket BOV on the 6T?
What types are they? Is there any performance gain, or is it to get it to sound more like a Skyline??
Im thinking about it,......

I've done a bit of research on this and it looks as if they do stuff all for power gain unless you're running some serious power and there are only a few that are an exact replacement for the stock one which is the GFB Stealth FX, apparently this is the only fully adjustable one. I think Simon from Xtreme distributes a turbosmart type but i think you might need to change plumbing..Simon???
I had one, Stealth FX BOV, cost me $500 it was fully adjustable from full vent to full plumb back, direct factory replacement.
There is no performance gain, its totally unrelated, its there to aid in reducing where and tear on the turbo. I only replaced mine so I could alter how much noise I wanted. But I got bored with it after a few months and sold it for $300 and replaced my factory one.
The factory plastic bosche thing will do all your daily chores right up to 13psi or so but then you need to invest in an aftermarket one with stiffer piston spring etc.
If your just after one as a toy, save your money, or end up finding out the hard way that its a waste - like I did LOL!

But basically they'll just give you noise
Hey Bud, i use the turbosmart ones yes and it means replacing just the pipe from the intercooler to the crossover casting that sits above the rocker cover.. Simple very neat and perfectly made, fully adjustable.
