hi has anyone had paint problems on their ba falcon i notice dark blotchy patches on bonnet wich is more noticeable in direct sun light, also on doors veiw at an angle. overspray in engine bay and not painted under the doors thanks.

I haven't really noticed anything wrong with my brother's paint job on his XR6, but I didn't look too hard. There have been paint issues on a few BAs though, particularly with the Mercury Silver.

I have seen a Bluprint XR with paint problem's, it look's like it's faded in certain spot's, but it's not only Bluprint that I've seen it on the only colour's I havn't seen it on are White, Black and the darker Blue's but the silver's seem the worse.

My blueprint xr6 na had to go back to get under the doors painted as there was only primer - no other probs with paint noticed.

I have a few inclusions on of the paintwork of my Blueprint. The inside ofthe fual filler isn't painted neither is the engine bay, but the undersides of the doors are.

I'd be happier if the fuel filler area was painted and ecstatic if the engine bay was.... but I guess it's the same for all XRs so *shrugs*

My turbo ute is one week old - the paint on the inside of the tailgate is peeling off!!!!! Not to mention where the paint chipped off the outside, where it rubbed on the right hand side hinge!!!! Anyone one had similar probs with the ute tails????????? My ute's in the Citric acid

Took it back today...they say the skin was not sealed properly...They are going to replace the whole tailgate....still - not great on a new vehicle...i week old
